LifeSketch: Domnall, also called Donald, was the son of Malcolm III, King of Scots (Máel Coluim mac Donnchada) and his 1st wife Ingibiorg, daughter of Finn Arnesson. Domnall was one of 3 boys born to Malcolm and Ingibiorg, his older brother Duncan (Donnchad) is believed to have been born about 1060, therefore Domnall was likely born between 1062 and 1069. He had another brother Malcolm, it is not known which is the older of the two, only that both had to have been born before 1069 as their mother is believed to have died 1069 or before. Some sources record Domnall's death as in 1085 others in 1094.
