    Op 11-8-1712 transporteerden de erfgenamen van Susanna Gemanse, weduwe van Willem Jansen Verschoor, voor 444 gld. een huis met erf en boomgaard aan de zuidzijde van het dorp Charlois aan de te Charlois wonende Pieter Hendrickse van Cleeff.131Bij akte van 30-1-1750 verklaarden de schout en schepenen van Charlois dat de te Charlois wonende Heindrik van Kleeff op 13-1-1748 de boedel en goederen van zijn overleden moeder Willempie Joppe Slooter, weduwe van Pieter Arienze (!, moet zijn: Hendrikze) had afgestaan en geabandonneerd ten behoeve van de crediteuren, waarna zijn broer Pieter van Kleeff, mede zoon van Willempie, vervolgens werd gealimenteerd door de Heilige Geestarmen en de diakonie van Charlois. Deze instellingen wensten Pieter echter niet ten hunnen laste te onderhouden, maar hem aan de crediteuren over te geven en onder curatele te stellen. Na de meeste en grootste schuldeisers gehoord te hebben besloten schout en schepenen met toestemming van de crediteuren om de Charloisse secretaris Jacob den Heilig aan te stellen om de goederen te administreren en publiekelijk te doen verkopen.132 Secretaris den Hertig transporteerde vanwege de geabandonneerde en insolvente boedel van Willempie Joppe Slooter, weduwe van Pieter Heindrikze van Kleeff, op 24-4-1750, na publieke verkoop op 13-2-1750, voor 302 gld. aan de te Charlois woonachtige Daniel Pieterze Kruydenier een huis met schuur, keet en gebruik van dijkerf met beplanting etc. in de Suythoek te Charlois, hetwelk aan de oostzijde belend was aan de Sluysvliet
