Foram proprietários da Fazenda São Joaquim (hoje município de São Joaquim da Barra) e pelos anos de 1828-1829 juntamente com seu irmão Januário, afazendou-se no Monte Alto, no pontal dos rios Grande e Paranaíba, onde foi proprietário das fazendas Barra (próxima a Santana do Paranaíba), Córrego Fundo, Bonito e posses nos rios Sucuriú e Verde Em 1837 aparece como Delegado do Governo de Mato Grosso para auxiliar o sertanista Joaquim Francisco Lopes (irmão do Guia Lopes), que abriu o "Picadão" de Cuiabá a Piracicaba Teve , pelo menos, os fls:
